Terms and Conditions
By making the deposit for our services you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read them carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions.
-
Booking
A minimum of 4 hours must be booked to utilize our services. 30-60 minutes of the time booked is required for set up, depending on the complexity of the service, and 30 minutes is required for clean up. We recommend booking additional time if a larger setup or clean-up is required.
-
Overtime
A request to work overtime hours can be made to the service team prior to the 30-minute clean-up window. Overtime hours should be paid directly to the service team in cash at the time of the request. If you are unsure about timing, we recommend booking extra time for your event.

Gratuity
Our gratuity is a set rate that takes into consideration time, service requirements, and industry standards. A partial gratuity is added to the invoice for Bartenders and Mixologists to ensure our team are properly tipped. A full gratuity is added to the invoice for Servers and Bussers as they will not bring a tip jar to events.
Our Bartenders and Mixologists will bring a tip jar with them for guests to tip as they desire. If you do not want a tip jar at your event, you can pay the remainder of the gratuity at the end of the event. Please tip responsibly.
-
Payment
A 25% deposit fee is required to book any event with Rockstar Bartending. This amount will go towards the final invoice and is non-refundable. By making this deposit you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
The remaining balance must be received 48 hours prior to the event. If the remaining balance has not been received by that time, the event will be considered canceled.
Refunds are at the discretion of Rockstar Bartending, and will only be applied to unworked hours as a result of an error by Rockstar Bartending. -
Breaks
Anyone from the Rockstar team may take a break during events longer than 5 hours. When multiple members of the service team are present, break times will be coordinated to ensure continuous service. However, when a lone employee is on duty, the bar will temporarily close to facilitate their required break. The break will be organized with the host and will be taken by a service team member when it least impacts the event.
-
Contact Person
It is your responsibility to provide a Contact Person to Rockstar Bartending for your event. The Contact Person is required to be available by phone to answer any questions on the day of the event in regards to parking, helping Rockstar team members find or locate an event, as well as providing direction and service requirements to the Rockstar service team upon arrival.
If team members are unable to find the location or the host, and their calls go unanswered for over 30 minutes, team members may be instructed to return home and the event will be considered canceled. Any missed service time due to unanswered calls by the Contact Person from the Rockstar Team will not be refunded.
-
Cancellation
Cancellation for any reason must be made in writing a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event to receive a refund. This does not apply to the 25% deposit. The deposit can be applied to a rescheduled event within 6 months of the deposit date.
-
Sales
We do not allow our team to handle cash on behalf of our clients. If needed, our team members can take and receive tickets as an alternative for beverage sales. This and other options can be discussed upon booking

Health & Safety
As required by law, all Rockstar Bartending Bartenders, Mixologists, and Servers are SMART Serve certified. As independent contractors, they are personally responsible for adhering to all the regulations set out by SMART serve.
Your Rockstar Bartending service team will not be held liable for any persons consuming alcohol that was not poured and served by a hired Rockstar Bartending Bartender, Mixologist, or Server. This includes cases where guests serve themselves or each other, or if another service provider is serving drinks at the same event.
Our Servers can handle and serve food provided at the event, however, they cannot prepare or cook food as they do not carry a Food Handler’s certificate.
Rockstar Bartending has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment toward any member of our team. If an incident takes place at your event involving physical or verbal abuse towards a Rockstar Team Member, service will be paused immediately until it can be resolved. If the harassment does not cease and the environment remains unsafe, then service is subject to immediate cancelation. The service team will pack up and leave the event. In this case, there will be no refunds for unworked hours.
